Welcome to Early Explorers Nursery, Worthing. Our lovely setting is located within The Labour Hall in Lyndhurst Road caring for children aged 2-5 years old. We are located within a wonderful location enabling us to organise regular Beach Schools, trips to the local parks and plan our Early Explorers in the Community adventures!
Early Explorers Nursery understands that all children are unique and learn at their own speed in very importantly in their own style. The Nursery operates a free flow play system, allowing the children to access our fantastic outside area throughout each session and attend our Nature Explorers sessions which are planned for in our Forest School area.
Growing Together
Alongside our thoughtfully planned daily activities and enriching outings beyond the nursery, we provide a wide range of additional experiences designed to broaden each child’s horizons and spark their curiosity. Children take part in engaging Spanish sessions, where they are introduced to new language and culture through songs, stories and play. Our lively Music and Movement sessions encourage rhythm, coordination and self-expression, while our hands-on cookery activities allow children to explore new tastes, practise practical skills and build confidence in a fun and safe environment.
Child-led Learning
Above all, we champion creativity and imagination, weaving it into everything we do. Through imaginative play, themed experiences and carefully crafted learning opportunities, we create inspiring moments that nurture curiosity, independence and a genuine love of learning.
Our approach blends Montessori activities, Forest School principles and free-flow play, creating a balanced and enriching learning experience. Children are encouraged to develop independence, problem-solving skills and self-confidence, while also learning how to collaborate, communicate and express themselves.
We enrich our curriculum with a wide range of exciting experiences including weekly Italian lessons, music and movement sessions, baking, gardening and outdoor learning. These activities help children develop language skills, creativity, physical coordination and a love of learning that lasts well beyond their early years.
